Field Pull Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 September 2026

The short version

Field Pull collects no data. Everything the app does happens on your iPhone and the recorder plugged into it.

What the app does with your recordings

Field Pull reads audio files from a USB recorder you connect, plays them back on request, and copies the ones you select into a folder you choose in the Files app. Copies are held briefly in the app's temporary storage while you pick the folder, then removed. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no servers operated by us. The app contains no networking code, so there is no mechanism by which your recordings could leave the phone.

Permissions

The app declares a camera usage description because Apple's ImageCaptureCore framework, which is how iOS lets an app talk to a USB recorder, requires it before it will expose the device. The iPhone camera is never used and no camera permission prompt is shown.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and collects no information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
